So, I'm inclined to think it was just coincidental.Outlook keeps crashing when open and it connected to the server and trying to download emails on Windows 10 for a week now. However, I have deleted that account from Outlook and the crashes have continued. Possibly related was that one of the Sky/Yahoo accounts was suffering recurrent issues with the password - despite it being correct it would fail to connect to the server. Nothing has had any sustained effect and the issue seems to be getting worse such that Outlook crashes every time I use it and often crashes multiple times in a row, simply restarting. I have tried reinstalling and repairing Office 365, creating a new Outlook profile, repairing my pst files, deleting ost files. Opening emails (rather than using the preview pane (occasionally) Running send/receive on all folders (frequently)Īttaching documents to emails in my work account (frequently)Īccessing email whilst connected to my work VPN (often) All accounts are IMAP except the work one which is Exchange and is hosted on. I have 5 email accounts set up in Outlook - 1 work one, a Gmail account and 3 Sky/Yahoo accounts. I run Office 365 and am suffering continuous crashes and force closes with Outlook. I've been suffering this issue for some time and just putting up with it but it's becoming unbearable. Full disclosure - I have posted this on another help forum but have been disappointed with the lack of helpful response so if you have seen this elsewhere then apologies in advance.
